The West Yorkshire Veterinary Ambulance operates from its base in Leeds.

 

The service operates 24 hours a day, providing assistance to Pets for Emergency & Non Emergency requests.

 

Areas we cover; Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Calderdale, Kirklees, York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Barnsley, Doncaster, Sheffield and the surrounding area.

 

The Ambulance is equipped with Advanced Medical Kit, Veterinary Stretcher and carries

Medical Oxygen onboard its 2 vehicles.

 

The pet ambulance service provides care at home and during transport, with a view to getting the patient to the clients own Vet ASAP.

Examples of a medical emergency include;

Unresponsive Animal, Breathing Difficulties, Collapse,  Severe blood loss, or pets experiencing a Seizure.​​
