The WYPA Veterinary Ambulance Service operates from its base in Leeds providing veterinary services to the pets of Yorkshire 24 hours a day.
Serving Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Calderdale, Kirklees, York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Barnsley, Doncaster, and Sheffield.
The Ambulance is equipped with Advanced Medical Kit, Veterinary Stretcher and Medical Oxygen.
Our service assists pets and owners to access Veterinary Services across Yorkshire and assists with Referrals when specialist treatment is required.

Our team is on call 24/7 in the event your Pet has a medical emergency at home.
The Ambulance can also assist with transport for Pets who require urgent and routine veterinary attention. ​​
​​Demand for the ambulance service can be high, and it is with regret that we cannot always guarantee availability at the time of calling.
End of
Life Care
Loosing a beloved pet is heart breaking.
Here at WYPA we provide a truly personal end of life service, giving your pets the dignity and respect they deserve.​

Home Euthanasia
Giving families that precious time to say goodbye to their beloved pets surrounded by loved ones in their own home, when the time comes to say goodbye.

Individual Cremation
We offer a individual pet cremation as part of our end of life service.
Our team lovingly take Paw Prints & Hair Clippings, for you to keep forever as beautiful keepsakes.
A choice of beautiful Urns are available with a personalised engraved plaque at a additional cost or a simple scatter to ashes box is included with the cremation.
We understand how important it is to have your pets ashes returned home to you as soon as possible, which is why a member of our team will hand deliver them back to you within 48 hours.

Home Collection Service
Our team are available 24/7 and provide a collection service should your pet sadly pass away at home.

Medical
Transfers
Medical transfers allow critical patients to be transported between veterinary facilities if specialist or overnight treatment is required.

Medical transfers can be booked to any veterinary facility in the UK.
​
The ambulance is equipped with onboard Medical Oxygen, CCTV Monitoring and Veterinary Stretcher.
​
Veterinary Staff are able to travel with the patient if required or can request a additional member of staff from ourselves if necessary.

Medical Transfers can be requested by any veterinary practice or the animals owner by calling our 24 hour phoneline and selecting option 3.
